What is Animal Reiki and Its Benefits?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing either as a hands on or hands off or distance approach which has been practiced for thousands of years. Reiki was derived from two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. Reiki is essentially meditation and focus techniques to support energetic healing and re-balancing of the body and mind.
Our pets help us by not only giving us unconditional love but as many pet owners admit feeling ‘healed’ or relaxed when with their pets, as it is said that animals absorb energy from their owners in order to heal them. By practicing animal Reiki, we are able to replenish the energy we borrowed from then and return the healing, unconditional love, and happiness they give us. World Animal Reiki Bahrain Week – Event
In support of World Animal Reiki Week we are hosting a Free event at the Saar Kennels Dog Garden on the 6th of February 2018. We encourage you and your pet to join us and have a free healing session for whichever ailment or concern you want to focus on.
All donations will 100% go towards the Trap Neuter & Release (TNR) initiative at Four Paws Bahrain Clinic, to help the strays of Bahrain.
